| I
know the day is approaching quickly, but I still haven't been able
to bring myself to cover Dave's beautiful work on the new floors
with red lead. |
 |
 |
 |
Practicality
won out though when Dave cut the new floor bolts down and didn't
want the ends exposed to moisture. He used one of the old keel bolt
washers as a guide and taped it to the top of the new floor before
using the sawz-all to cut the bolt as flush as possible. |
 |
| Dave then
drilled the tops of the bolts down using a 1/2" bronze bushing
on the end of the drill bit and using a hose clamp as a depth stop.
I need to compile a seperate page of Dave's handy inventions. |
